What is the syllabus for RBI Grade B DEPR?
RBI Grade B DEPR is considered one of the most important competitive exam not only for banking aspirants but most importantly Economics aspirants as well. For the RBI Grade B DEPR, the selection will be conducted via Online/ Written Examination (WE) and interview. The main aim through this job requirement is to undertake economic analysis and research and contribute to policy formulation, apart from compilation of data relating to select sectors.
In terms of paper, then there are 3 papers for the RBI Grade B DEPR Exam namely:-
Paper I (Objective Type) and Paper II & III (Descriptive Type).

Syllabus for RBI Grade B DEPR
For Paper 1 & 2
These papers would not only test your basics but also your masters level of understanding. Therefore, the required level of papers on Economics would be that of your Master's Degree in Economics which you pursued from any Central University in India.
For Paper 3
Descriptive English would be asked for paper 3. The aim of the paper on English is suggested to be designed in a manner that assess the writing skills including expression and understanding of the topic.
# Important Note
As per the recent notification, there is some suggested reading material which include: The publications of RBI like Annual Report, Report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India, Monetary Policy Report and the Financial Stability Report and the Economic Survey being published over the previous two years.
