Exam Pattern - What Changed?
Old pattern (2023-2024) had 100 questions - 25 general + 75 subject. New pattern (2025 and 2026) has only 75 questions, and all 75 are from Economics only. No general section. This is important. When 2027 notification comes, check the number of questions and negative marking again. NTA has changed it before, so do not trust coaching sites blindly.

Note:
i. The Question Paper will have 75 questions.
ii. All questions will be based on Subject-Specific Knowledge.
iii. All questions are compulsory.
iv. The Questions will be Bilingual (English/Hindi).

Q: Is there negative marking?
A: Yes, NTA has used negative marking before (-1 for wrong in 2026). But confirm again for 2027 in official notification.
